I recently discovered this amazing Japanese/Korean restaurant. Everything I tried on their diverse menu was fantastic, but the standout was definitely the spicy pork bento. The bento box came with California rolls, fluffy white rice, perfectly fried dumplings, and an assortment of salad vegetables with fresh flavor. But the spicy pork was the star. The succulent, tender pieces of pork were coated in spicy glaze with just the right amount of heat. The sweet yet spicy glaze was so addicting. It exceeded my expectations. I think this restaurant is the most delicious restaurant around this area! I tried many restaurants but this place is the best. Good quality and quantity, good atmosphere, good to talk with other, very clean, and nice server! I can feel that the owner considered a lot of details for his restaurant. I tried Gamja jungol, takoyaki, gyoza, pork belly, and korean style chicken - korean spicy bbq & butter garlic. To be honest, everything was really good and it has really similar flavor with real Korean food. I would recommend all kinds of Korean entrees. I have been to this Lafayette location multiple times and am never disappointed. I've had different kinds of the fried chicken, the sushi, gyoza, pork belly, and other main dishes and all have been delicious. Not sure if everything ordered comes with banchan, but they have a yummy fermented bean paste that is excellent with the pork belly. The service is prompt and calm and have never had any issues there. I always forget, so I hope you don't, but they offer free tea and hot chocolate. This restaurant is the best Korean/Japanese fusion restaurant in the Lafayette area! The flavors are absolutely amazing! We tried the Bibimbap, a Sushi roll, and the Korean Fried Chicken (Garlic Crispy). The Bibimbap was filled with fresh vegetables and a generous amount of meats. The Sushi roll was perfect—fresh, expertly crafted, and simply melted in your mouth. The Korean Fried Chicken was crispy and full of flavor! The restaurant had a great blend of Korean and Japanese vibes, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place to you! ~ Yonghan J

A truly neat and classy dining atmosphere! We had such a happy time thanks to Tsunami, which allowed us to enjoy both the taste and the mood of food! The real taste is 100% guaranteed~~ plus!! I hope everyone can feel the warm, clean, and gentle feeling that comes from a restaurant, as well as the delicious taste to the eyes! They serve us very good ingredients in sufficient quantities at reasonable prices. I am grateful that Tsunami, whom I always missed, is back so I can have this meal! Especially Unadon & Ahi Tower & Takoyaki, Sushi Rice, Nigiri & Sashimi & Rolls~~~ always miss them!! And the only space in our town for Korean food lovers that offers Stone pot bibimbap and Gamjatang!! (Of course, there is no more need to mention the perfect plate as pork belly, stir-fried pork, and bulgogi!!! 🤩) And even the dessert cheesecake carefully made by the chef himself. I've seen this place a few times driving by and haven't noticed it being super busy. Though today I decided why not give it a try and see what it's about. To start off, I can say the staff was beyond super friendly and kind. As for the food, I got some sushi for an appetizer and then had gotten tonkatsu curry as my entree. I was very pleased with both but very much enjoyed the curry 😋. Definitely eager to come back to try their korean fried chicken! ~ Dwayne D

My boyfriend and I had the best Valentine's Day dinner of our lives (so far) here. The pork gyoza, Korean bbq fried chicken, and bulgogi we shared were fabulous, the marinades and flavors the kind of tastes so memorable that we're still talking about them the next day. My niece and I went here to eat lunch yesterday. The food was excellent! The service was also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. I know my niece enjoyed it and I had enough food to bring home. And I have to say the fried cheesecake was so good!! That alone makes me want to go back there and eat again. ~ aylaeh c

I ordered sashimi rice bowl and pa-dak (fried chicken with green onions) for lunch, and the portions were generous. It tasted just as delicious as what I’ve had in Korea. I think this is the best Korean restaurant in Lafayette, and I highly recommend it! ~ Chohee P

Great Korean and Japanese restaurant to have a family gathering! Spacious and comfortable place. I have tried their chicken wings and the sauces tasted amazing. Korean entrees are very authentic. Bibimbap and grilled pork belly reminded me the trip to Korea. ~ nutella

The food was good, and the service was satisfying. It seems like a sound setup with affordable price tags. Korean fried chicken was nice and was not so spicy. Curry donkatsu is another recommended menu with a good serving size. Rolls were exactly what they were supposed to be! ~ Chan L

Lovely late lunch experience in the former pancake house. Food was incredible, service was very friendly and speedy. Boneless Korean Wings (Supreme) + Calamari appetizer + Purdue sushi roll highly recommended! Very low key, low stress, open environment. ~ Nick O

Great place! The food was delicious. We had the hot bibimbap, tonkatsu, and curry. The ambiance is very nice, staff are great, and the place is very clean. It’s on the pricier side but you get what you pay for so I think it was totally worth it. ~ Sarah P

The Ahi Tower is the best in town!! A lot of tuna on top of avocado and crab meat! And the best korean chicken wings (my recommendation is the K Spicy BBQ) Staffs are nice too. Definitely will come back for other munes too ~ Stella Y

Beautiful place on the inside (exterior needs some maintenance). Servers could use more training, not bad people. Just need more training. The food was awesome loved the bulogi and the fried chicken. Will definitely return and highly recommend. ~ J.B. F

We tried here for the first time recently an really enjoyed it. The Bulgogi was super good, although the sides were not what I was used to, still pretty decent. Gyoza also quite tasty. Plenty of space and overall quiet atmosphere was nice ~ Landon B

Their Korean fried chicken was awesome. I would also suggest the curry chicken, it was decent. Remember, the portion sizes are big, at least two ppl can eat it. Overall a good experience. ~ Anuj A
